Mrs. Burden, Jay, Jack, Harry, and Ford, please accept my sincere condolences. I have lots of nice memories of Mr. Burden over the many years starting when I was a small child in Gander, and I was saddened to hear this news. I hope he’s at peace and that you’re all coping okay.

So sorry to hear of Mr Burdens passing, always enjoyed visiting them at their summer cottage in Sandy Cove, i was in my younger teens when they purchased the place, the former owners would always have a peppermint knob when i would visit, the burdens when they purchased the place carried on that tradition of always having thm on hand, sometimes it’s just the little things that matter. Rest well Jack.
I will enjoy a peppermint knob in your honour.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Jack Burden, a cousin, that I met only once in my lifetime – way back when I visited his mother & father with my own mother & father. Jack’s father Hayward & my mother Mabel were brother & sister. Lots of happy memories for Jack’s family to share I’m sure. Condolences to all of you.
