Mrs. Squires and Family. I was saddened to learn just yesterday of Richard’s passing. I recall the wonderful telephone conversation we had one evening that Robert went over to your place and we four chatted about memories of growing up at Midstream. Please accept my sincere sympathies.

Dear Leona and family,

I was so sorry to learn of the passing of Richard. We always called him Richard. He was a classmate of mine through elementary, junior, and high school, and along with being cousins we were very close friends. Many a time I slept at Midstream or he slept at 42 Newtown Road. He and I and some friends were required to make weekly visits to Lady Squires when she lived on Barnes Road. I am left with treasured memories.

My thoughts are with you all at this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Jack Drover
