It is with profound sadness that the family of Robert (Bob) G. Thomas announce his passing on the afternoon of October 4, 2021.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters: Melanie (Darrell) and Beth, and treasured grandchildren: Dylan and Sarah as well as his former spouse Audrey, and sister in law Rosetta. Robert came from a large family and held close fond memories of his remaining siblings:  Al, Noreen and Marge as well as numerous nephews, nieces and extended family.

Robert was a jack of all trades and an avid gardener. Always in the garden or planning for next season’s crop. He could often be found building or repurposing something or lending a hand to any project big or small. He was a man that was fiercely independent but immensely generous with his time and for that and countless other admirable traits he will be missed.

The family wishes to thank the medical team on the 7th floor and ICU at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for their thoughtful and professional care.

The funeral will take place at Carnell’s on Freshwater Road on Friday, October 8th at 10:00 am and will be livestreamed. To view the live stream please click on the link above.
