Robert "Bob" Noseworthy

Passed peacefully away at his family residence, in the arms of his loving family, Robert John Noseworthy (known as Bob) on May 27^th, 2026 at the age of 91 years.

Bob is predeceased by his parents – Victor & Margaret Noseworthy; sister – Jeanette Tulk; brothers – Clarence & Alex Noseworthy; parents-in-law – Frank & Eliza Churchill; sister and brother-in-law – Gertie & Roy Sparkes and Albert & Carol Ann Hibbs.

Bob leaves to mourn his wife of 49 years, Emily (Churchill) Noseworthy; special daughter – Beverley (Luke); special son – Scott (Monique), who went above and beyond for his father; grandsons – Trevor (Courtney) and Ryan; brother – Gordon Noseworthy (Josephine); brother and sister-in-law – Derrick & Donna Churchill and Gerard Tulk; two precious daughters – Sherri and Wendy and son – John and their families; sisters-in-law – Ruby, Mary and Nancy; caregiver – Frezil Ally; the Earle family, as well as a circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Public Visitation will take place from Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John’s, NL on Sunday, May 31^st, 2026 from 5:00-9:00PM.

Reverend Eli Cross will conduct the Funeral Service from St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s, NL on Monday, June 1^st, 2026 at 2:00PM.

A cup of tea will be served at Bob & Emily Home at 19 Anglican Cemetery Road, Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s, NL following the Funeral Service. All are welcome!

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the Ronald McDonald House, St. John’s, NL in memory of his great-nieces – Alexandra, Kennedy and Kolby Wareham or to St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s, NL.

A special thank-you to the paramedics and first responders, to the staff of Carnell’s Funeral Home, to Reverend Eli Cross and St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Bob’s special caregiver who went above and beyond for him. Thank you call, from the bottom of our hearts.
