Obituary

Ronald James Tobin passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, 17 February 2017.  Beloved husband of Sadie (Day) of Portugal Cove. Predeceased by Sarah (Fleming) in 1985, his daughter Catherine in 2016 and stepson Gary in 2016.  Survived by his children James, John, Joanne, Mary (Michael) and Francis; and his stepchildren Jim (Susan), Scott (April), Greg (Debbie), Betty (Craig), Warren (Carol), Ruth (Jim) and Ray (Barbara); and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Ron is mourned by a large circle of family and friends.  The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of 4SB of the Health Science Centre for their wonderful care.  Visitation will occur on Sunday, 19 February from 2:00 to 4:00, and 7:00-9:00 at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road.  Ceremony will take place From the Carnell Memorial Chapel, Monday, 18 February at 11:00.
