A long life, well lived, and so cared for by his family! My thoughts are with you.

We remember Ches with great fondness and are very sad to hear of his passing. It was not long after we first met Ches, that he began to help Allan construct his first home and I am sure Allan can pass on numerous stories about the time they spent working on that house in Mount Pearl. For my part I always found an excuse not to partake in the labors associated with such an endeavor however I was always impressed with Ches’s approach to what he was doing and I now know that I would have benefited by spending more time with him.
Our sincere condolences to the family as I know from our interactions with with him and how Allan and Erin viewed him that he was a great father and grandfather.

To the Legrow family , so saddened and sorry for your loss. Mr Legrow was a beautiful kind , friendly man and always had a smile on his face whenever he visited our office over the years.
He was a pleasure to serve and always grateful for the service he received

To the LeGrow Family,
Sincere condolences on the passing of your Father. As a young boy I would accompany my Father on his weekly trip to Canada Packers on Bond Street where “Sam” held court. It was always an enjoyable trip listening to his many stories about the old days. Our relationship continued over the years and I always looked forward to our many chats.

Lee-Ann, Derrick, Allen and Families,
Thinking of you upon the passing of your father – such a kind and friendly man – I know you will miss him. Your parents were fine neighbours and friends in the Guy St/Kirke Place neighbourhood. All that is good lives on in you, your children, grandchildren and in generations to come.
Sincerely
Judy Gard Puddester

Lee-Ann, Mike and other family members,
Condolences on your loss. My parents, Will and Frances, shared many happy gatherings over the years with Helen and Ches, visiting back and forth, and at your summer home in Broad Cove. I recall listening to Ches, while growing up, telling his many stories as only he could. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories you hold.

Ches was a wonderful man who loved Broad Cove and it’s history He helped me learn about my family history and was always ready for a chat. He will be missed in our community.
