Mrs. Butt (Brenda), Dave, Edison and family, we are so sorry to have learned of Sam’s passing. he was a kind, gentle soul, who was always up for a little chat. I remember when we first purchased our summer home Sam and Brenda would drop down for a little visit and a chat, and they always had a nice comment on our renovations, that always made us feel good. Sam always gave a little advise along the way, that meant a lot..Sam and Brenda were great cabin neighbors, and when they sold their place a few years ago because health issues, we certainly missed their presence., and thought of them often. Brenda and family, may all your wonderful memories of Sam help you all get through this difficult time, thinking of you. God has taken another angel home, rest easy Sam.

Dave
I am so sorry to hear of Sam’s passing. I know he was a very special person in your life and he so enjoyed his time with you, Jackie, Cameron and Samantha.
You and I only got to know each other well in Edmonton but I remember meeting Sam for the first time back on Wishingwell Road in 78 and thinking he had a great sense of humor. I have many fond memories of watching him and his brother Bill interact and if a person believes in the hereafter, they might believe that Sam is chatting to Bill now about where the flask was hidden in the basement given they both seemed to spend so much time there.
Our thoughts are with you and Jackie .
Dave and family, so sorry for your loss. Sending my condolences,
Laura Skinner
