Shaun Francis Bennett (Bennett), born on February 15,1979, passed away on June 23, 2026.
Shaun spent his life in St. John’s, where he became known as a hardworking, devoted family man whose greatest pride was the people he loved. He dedicated much of his life to his work as a mechanic and roofer, earning the respect of those who knew him through his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a helping hand.
Predeceased by his father Nolan Bennett, father in law Fred Mercer and step father in law Wayne Skinner.
Shaun is lovingly remembered by his spouse Amanda Mercer, his son Dylan Bennett (Willow), his daughter Dakota Bennett (Kaleb), mother Vera Bennett, sister Jennifer (Jason) Harris his special niece Olivia, brother Lee Pearce (Lynn). He also leaves behind many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
He leaves behind cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of hard work, devotion, and love for family will never be forgotten.
Public Visitation will take place from Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John’s, NL on Tuesday, June 30th, 2026 from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM.
