Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, on Saturday May 24th, 2025, Sheila Sears age 85 years.

Beloved wife of Donald Sears predeceased. Also predeceased by her parents, Peter and Margaret (Parrell) Lawlor; mother and father-in-law, Catherine and Leo Sears Sr.; brothers-in-law: Leo Sears Jr. (Beatrice), Bennet Sears, Virden Sears, and Allister Sears; sisters-in-law Narie Porter and Jane Sears.

Loving mother to Robert Sears (Gina) and Donna Gallant (Marc); cherished grandmother of Breton and Eden. Sheila will be greatly missed by her sisters: Rose Murphy (Nelson) and Agnes Lawlor; brother Peter Lawlor (Jos); sister-in-law Donna Lawlor (Jerome – deceased); brothers-in-law: Melvin Sears (Janet), Malcolm Sears (Francise) and Don Porter; also missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Donna Lawlor, Stephan and Kathy Sears, Trina and Dwight Doman, to the staff of St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, the staff at Kingsway Living and to the staff at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for showing our mom so much care and compassion.

Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Friday May 30th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.

Funeral service to take place on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, at 12 p.m. at the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow in the Non-Denominational Cemetery, Paradise.
