Sonya was a neighbour of mine on Princess Anne Place for 40 years. She was the kindest, warmest person anyone could have wanted for a neighbour. She always met me with a smile and would love to stop for a little chat., always making sure she inquired about my family. She was a talented potter and I feel very fortunate to have some of her pieces. I will treasure them always. Sonya was especially loving to my grandchildren. Each Halloween, she would seek out special treats for them and they always wanted to go to her house first on their trick and treat route. Unfortunately, Covid and other issues prevented me from seeing a lot of her over the past 3 years. However, I will always remember her as a humble, caring person who left a positive mark on all the people she connected with over the years. Rest in peace Sonya!

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our a lifetime friend of. Sonia. and of her family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May her dear soul Rest in Peace. Sam and Patricia Atkins.
