Obituary
A retired peacekeeper with the Canadian Army, passed peacefully at Palliative Care Unit on Friday, June 22nd, 2018.
Stephen was the son of the late Cyril and Madeline Tucker. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
He leaves with fond and loving memories his spouse, Myrtle (nee Churchill); children, Marsha Churchill (Brad Crocker), Larry Churchill, and Dan Tucker ; Grandson Michael Tucker; sisters-in-law, Joyce Gollop and Yvonne (Harold) Phalen; brothers-in-law, Ernst (Linda) Churchill, Harold (Flora) Churchill, Don (Sadie) Churchill, and Gordon (Marion) Churchill and other family and friends. Especially his four life-long friends, Wally Mitchell, Doug Neary, Jock Stewart and Ericson Critch.
Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John’s on Sunday, June 24, 2018, 10 am -9 pm and Monday, June 25, 2018, 10am – noon Funeral service will be held from United Church, Portugal Cove on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 2 p.m., with interment to follow.
Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Stephen’s memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation or the Janeway Foundation.
