Obituary
Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, NL on Monday, June 22nd, 2026, Stephen Jacob Tucker, age 93.
Predeceased by his wife – Barbara Cynthia Tucker; daughter-in-law – Jean Marie Tucker as well as many extended family members.
Left to mourn are his sons – Rick Tucker and Steve Tucker Jr. (Judy); daughters – Betty Fitzpatrick (Tom) and Sandra Bishop (Earl); special companion – Theresa Pinsent; grandchildren – Michelle, Tara (Wes), Karen (Andrew), Kelly, Karla (Matthew), Chris (Ed) and Amanda; great-grandchildren – Carly, Colby, Brandon, Brooke and Cole; great-great-granddaughter – Haven; siblings – Viola Squires (Mack), Steve Sharpe, Raymond Petten, Harriet, and Dale Wilson and special friends – Joe LeGrow, Ethel Comerford and Bruce Thorne as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
The Tucker family would like to extend a special thank-you to Jackie Pinsent and Cora Newhook for their loving care of their dad.
Public Visitation will take place from Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John’s, NL on Friday, June 26th, 2026 from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM.
Funeral Service will take place from The Carnell Memorial Chapel on Saturday, June 27th at 2:00PM. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations made be made in Stephen’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
