Lisa, we’re so very sorry to hear this sad news. Sincerest condolences to you and your family.

I just learned of Tammy’s passing today. I am so very sorry for your loss, she was so sweet and kind, we travelled together on the bus for many years to school, may she rest in peace.

Deepest condolences to all Tammy’s family and friends. I was shocked to learn the sad news today. Rest easy old friend.

I, like many other co-workers of Tammy at NLC, was shocked and saddened to hear about her passing. Tammy was my go to person and helped me many times throughout the years by answering any question I threw her way. Often answering the phone while laughing and saying “Wadda ya got done now?” she was quick to assist and help me without hesitation. Wishing Tammy’s Family and Friends, comfort and peace in the difficult days ahead. Rest Peacefully my Friend.

My deepest condolences to Tammy’s family at this very difficult time. I worked with Tammy at NLC over the last few years and she was a very kind person with a great sense of humour. Tammy was very knowledgeable and always ready to lend a hand. Tammy will be dearly missed by all those that knew her. Rest in peace Tammy.

My heartfelt condolences to Tammy’s family and friends at this difficult time. I worked with Tammy at NLC and she was the absolute best! She was my go-to person for any question I had, always making time when I needed her help. Tammy not only had a huge heart, her wit and humour could light up any room and I will miss her dearly. Rest in peace my friend.

Tammy made me feel so welcome when I first joined NLC. Her hugs were the warmest and tightest…the kind that made you feel truly seen. She had such a kind and sincere spirit, always ready to help without hesitation. She often said how much she loved working with Filipinos, and I know that feeling was mutual — I certainly loved working with her. Thank you for everything, Tammy. You’ll always be remembered with love!

I had the pleasure of working with Tammy at NLC over the past several years and through our many conversations, I soon realized what a genuinely special person she was. She was a funny lady with a big smile, hearty laugh and always fun to be around. You could always depend on her to help out in any situation. She was encouraging and always put a positive spin on everything. She was accepting of everyone and was respected by all. My heartfelt condolences are extended to her family and friends during this extremely difficult time. Rest in peace Tammy you truly will be missed!

Tammy took me under her wing when I started with NLC – she taught me everything I needed to know. I always apologized if I asked the same question twice but she assured me to ask as many questions as i wanted, however many times and she would show me again. She would say “Don’t be so foolish by, i don’t care about that lol” She was the light of the HR department, always cracking a joke. My heart absolutely breaks to hear of her sudden passing. We shared many special moments and chats. Sending my deepest condolences to Tammy’s family during this difficult time. She will be missed dearly.

Deepest condolences to the friends and family of Tammy. I had the privilege of knowing Tammy over the past few years of working with the NLC. I have only meet Tammy in person once but spoke to her every other day by phone and email. She was such a warm and welcoming individual that even though we didn’t see each other in person we still felt close through our phone conversations. She was an asset to the NLC with her knowledge and her kindness. Whenever I needed help with a question, she was my first phone call, she was always the go to person for any topic, she knew it all, and if she didn’t, she would help you find the answer. We became very close over the years with our chats, and she will be greatly missed by all of her colleagues across the province.

Tammy was a very special person at NLC, an integral member of the HR team, and as such, very often the first point of contact and the go-to person for so many other people across the province. But more than that. She created friendships and lasting relationships through her warmth, kindness, humor, chats and interest in each person with whom she dealt. That wasn’t limited to our offices on Kenmount Road. While visiting NLC stores in central and eastern NL last week, it was amazing and heartwarming to hear from the many people with whom Tammy had made a real connection, and had made a difference in their lives. On behalf of everyone at NLC, I would like to extend our condolences to Tammy’s family and friends and such a difficult time. Tammy will be deeply missed.

Tammy was genuinely one of the nicest people i ever knew. i hate that we all drifted apart. we spent all our weekends together for years. She used to always call me out because she could smell my perfume before she saw me. im so sad shes not here anymore. i cant believe it. the world is a little bit sadder

There are no words to describe how sorry I am to hear of this and there are no words that exist to comfort friends and loved ones, so I will use this space to leave words about Tammy. When I learned that she passed away, it was a gut-punch. Although it was a lifetime ago, it feels like yesterday that she was one of my very best friends. We were a small group of best friends who started in junior high and continued through university. Tammy was truly beautiful inside, and out. She had a gentle, yet fierce spirit and even though I hadn’t heard this expression back then, it is fitting to say she was an “old soul”. She was so smart, and wise beyond her years. She was the one who grounded us, the one who would call us out when we were being ridiculous, and the one who would sit and listen whenever we needed to vent. She found something good in everyone she met, even when the rest of us were quick to judge. I remember her sense of humor and her laugh, as well as her cry – she felt deeply, and unapologetically. I have so many precious memories of her: the laughing, the adventures, the misadventures, the celebrations, the heart aches and heart-breaks, the typical teenage shenanigans, and the normal day-to-day happenings that remain treasured memories. She had a nurturing (and protective) way about her that made her friends feel valued. If you were her friend, you were loved. Most of the memories I have of that part of my life involve her and for that, I am fortunate.
To all the friends she had after me, and to her family – I cannot imagine the insurmountable loss you are feeling. I am blessed to have ever been a part of her life, and I hope that your memories of her bring you some comfort when you need it most.

So sorry to hear of Tammy’s untimely passing. I will always remember her for her pleasant and easy going personality. May she rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Tammy’s passing, I remember her from Polina Road when she was a little girl. We lived on Diana Road and she spent many days in our back yard with my daughter Lori ( who passed away in 2005 ), and my son John. They also spent many days having fun in the cul de sac. I remember her as a very sweet little girl. May she rest in peace. Condolences from our family to yours.
