My deep sympathy to Terry’s beloved wife, Kitty and to their family. I met Terry in the 70’s when he was the best hair stylist in St John’s. I always enjoyed our conversations about anything and everything. Terry was always a gentleman and was never far from an entertaining anecdote and a smile. We occasionally talked when I worked at CBC Toronto. It was a pleasure to keep that NL connection. We didn’t always agree about politics but we knew when to change the subject.
His loyalty was outstanding and he was not shy to speak the truth in his defence of a friend; a trait I consider to be rare today and admirable.
RIP my friend. You will be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Terry at OE/Canon for several years and am so grateful to have known him. My deepest condolences to Kitty, Terry’s family and all who loved him. Rest in Paradise my friend.

My sincere condolences to Terry’s family. I have nothing but fond memories of Terry well dressed head to toe and his east coast accent. Always knew when Terry arrived and was in the vicinity. He was always upbeat and undoubtedly the best dressed Newfoundlander ever. Rest in Peace Buddy.

So sorry to hear of Terry’s passing, our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time,

Kitty and family,
My deepest sympathy and condolences on Terry’s passing! He was a long time friend with my husband Ron. Rest in peace!!

Was saddened to hear of Terry’s passing. Terry lived an amazing life full of family, travel, adventures and trail blazing.

Terry was a few generations older than me but I always looked up to him. I’m glad we got to visit him and Kitty before Covid and share some laughs and reconnect.

From Karen and myself and our girls, cheers to a life well lived.

Rest well Terry .

I am one of Terrys many first cousins and even though we were at different ends of the country we talked frequently and my family and I were even able to visit Kitty and him in their beautiful home. Terry was a very charismatic gentleman with a taste for the good things in life. He was the historian for the extended family of the “Spratt” side of the family bringing together many cousins including family in the U.S.

My condolences to Kitty and the family. To the very end his concern was always for Kitty and his love for her.. May you rest in peace Terr.

My condolences to the family. I knew Terry from Kinsmen many years ago. It was a great time made better by Terry who always gave 110 percent to all the charities and events . He will be missed

So sorry to hear about Terry’s recent passing. Being in the same business , I looked forward to our weekly “chats” , which rarely included business …mostly chatter about food, travel and home ( as I’m originally from Corner Brook )!.
His stories were of legend !
He will be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.
“All right old man ” is how he ended every call ,and on that note ….same to you Terry !
