Poppy,

Though we’ve been separated by many miles my heart aches for you’re passing. Living in alberta I haven’t had the opportunity to know you as my cousins have but know I am envious of those who had. I’ve learned much about you these last few days and I am so proud the grandfather and man you were. Your name will be recognized for the good you have done and those who knew you are the lucky ones. You are in a better place now but will be missed forever. Until we meet again poppy.

All the love, your grandson,
Richard

Dee and extended family of atom
Sincere condolences on the passing of Tom
In his day and generation he was a contributor to his City and Province.
He had a great sense of humour and was a positive personality.
He is now at rest and may that rest be in peace.
He will live on in the memories of his family and the multitude friends who knew him on the road of his life.

To the Murphy family. Saddened to hear of Tom’s passing. He was always a pleasure to talk to and he would certainly have a funny comment. It was a result of his massive victory over me in the provincial election (2 votes) that Tom became known as landslide. We had a few chuckles over that. Though on opposite sides of the political scene we were always friends. RIP my friend.

Sorry to read about Tom’s passing.Tom and I attended grade 11 class together at St Bons.It was always nice to see Tom at times over the years when I would visit St John’s.I send my condolences to brother Dee and and Toms wife and
Toms wife and family.

Sorry to hear of Toms passing.Another golfing buddy gone.Lived a good life.Served his province and constituents with a heart. We’ll miss him.

To all of Tom’s Family our Deepest Condolences.:
In the past few days we, as well as many of Tom’s friends and family, are remembering many good times spent in his company. We enjoyed many softball games, tournaments, gatherings at Fong’s, and New Years Eve parties in the 80’s – 90’s, such good times.
We hadn’t seen Tom for a while but we visited him at the hospital a number of weeks ago and had a chat. It was good to see him. RIP Tom.

We are deeply saddened by the news of Tom’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Andrea so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Cathy and family,
Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the loss of such an important part of your family. I met your dad on several occasions some years ago but had already felt as though I knew him as he had always been spoken about with great respect. I understood your dad to be a well known people person and one who displayed a great sense of humour. A man who loved his family and thoroughly enjoyed many family gatherings over the years.
While we realise no words can ease the profound pain and sadness of your loss, may you take comfort in knowing that he lives on in each of you and in those whose lives he has touched. As you grieve together, may you find solace in your many shared memories of him and know that his spirit is with you always. May he rest in peace.
Sending you our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Tom was the best!Glad I knew him n always enjoyed a game of golf with him whether is was St. John’s , PEI,or Terra Nova or Halifax!Laugh til we were sore.
Whether it was him doing Jigger Malone
Or him doing Charles Tittemore
N Syble, Or him making you split your sides as he told you yet another yarn about campaining in St. John’s South,or travelling with the Caps n the hockey wars of the NAHA.Tom knew everyone.
I Always looked foward to seeing him
and I could not have had a better guide to accompany me through the Liberal Leadership race in Mount Pearl when Popsie prevailed
much to Tom’s delight!
Wish we were there to celebrate your life on Monday but we will bebthere in spirit.
