Obituary
Velma Lillian Green passed peacefully away after a short illness at the age of seventy-eight.
Velma is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Hilda Green; sister, Hilda Thomas (David); infant brother, John; and special cousin, Ted Mills.
Leaving to mourn her sister, Emma (Mike) Forbes and family; brother Robert (Marion); the Mills’ families; former co-workers at the Canada Revenue Agency; and her many friends at the Seniors’ Group especially Julia, Barbara, Mary, and Valerie.
Never one to stand on ceremony, Velma decided there would be no visitation or church service. Cremation has taken place.
A donation to an animal shelter in Velma’s name would be appreciated.
