When I Must Leave You

When I must leave you for a little while

Please do not grieve and shed wild tears

And hug your sorrow to you through the years

But start out bravely with a gallant smile;

And for my sake and in my name

Live on and do all things the same,

Feed not your loneliness on empty days,

But fill each waking hour in useful ways,

Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer

And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near;

And never, never be afraid to die,

For am I waiting for you in the sky!

My sincere sympathies to all the family, Violet, my first cousin, was a very unique person, always positive, faced the many challenges of her illness with determination and stayed independent as long as she possibly could. Her knowledge and love for history and genealogy helped so many people far and wide. Hopefully good memories will brighten your dark days.

So Sorry for your loss you are in our thoughts and prayers I’m here if you need anything

I am so very sorry to learn of Violets’ passing. She was such a beautiful soul. I had the pleasure of meeting her at Come Home Year in 2006. She was so very generous with her time and knowledge and filled me in on our familys genealogy, we first met when she called looking for info on the “Spawns” so that she could pass the information to Leonard. Because of Violet we did get to meet cousin Leonard and kept in touch with him until his passing. Susan, Sharon and Gavin please accept our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your Mom and Grandmother. Sending love and prayers.
