I am just reading this notice now, and want to express my sincere condolences to your family! Bertie shared a suite at PVT with my mom, Theresa O’Neill, and often I would sit with Vertue at snack time in the dining room! She often thought I was a worker and asked for my assistance and I explained I was a visitor and she was happy I came to see her! She was a nice lady and I’m certain you miss her! May you find comfort in knowing she is at peace now! God Bless …. sincerely Elaine Squires

Uncle Doug, Rol, Gen, Doug and families, there are so many memories with aunt Virtue that it would take a novel to write them all down. We were like brothers and sisters because our mothers were so close so the memories go beyond just being cousins or her being an aunt. She is with mom in heaven now and that I know would make her happy and at peace. Wish we could have been there to say our goodbyes. She was special to all of us and our memories of her getting lunches whenever you visited, her hugs when you leave, and her expression of genuine care whenever you felt sad will be in our hearts forever. She loved us so much because of mom, her closest friend and sister. I know this is hard on you all especially uncle Doug but she is in a better place. No more suffering. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love you all more than words can express. Hugs from us. Bob and Rona

Shaelyn and I send our condolences, it is a terrible thing that our loved ones have to leave us. All we can hope in life is to bring joyful memories and happiness to all people around us. Aunt Virtue was above and beyond these expectations. She was a thoughtful and loving person, she would never see anyone hurt, or hungry. We will miss here dearly. She is with God now, she is in a much better place with different family, one day we will all see her again. Lots of love from Shaelyn and I, may your thoughts and memories of Aunt Virtue help you through these hard time and times to come.

Uncle George wanted to send his sorrow regarding the passing of his sister , Aunt Virtue . His heart is broken once again as he’s left behind to feel the pain and the loss of his last surviving sibling and someone he dearly loved . Aunt Virtue was not only a beloved sister but like another mother and indeed his very best friend . He sends his love and his blessings to Uncle Doug and all the family .

Our hearts are saddened to hear the loss of Aunt Virtue. Aunt Virtue was very special Aunt to all of us. She was a very caring, giving and gentle person . The girls remember when when visiting Aunt Virtue in Sandy Cove she gave them a pack of jam jams and viva puff cookies to take home. So Aunt Virtue was always on the top of their list to visit. Remembering her wonderful and gentle soul will forever remain in our hearts. May she Rest In Peace!
Sending all the family love and strength and this difficult time.
Love always,
Craig, Charlene, Danielle and Kaitlynn. Xxoo

Robby and I send our deepest condolences for the loss of Aunt Virtue. We both have so many beautiful memories that we will continue to cherish. Aunt Virtue was a little lady with a heart twice her size. She was always so kind, thoughtful, generous and loving to everyone she interacted with. She will surely be missed but her memories will continue to live on in all of our hearts.
Sending all the family strength and love at this difficult time. Be sure to celebrate her life and share your beautiful memories of her with each other.
Much love,
Holly and Robby

To all family:
We extend our deepest sympathies at the loss of a beautiful, kind, gentle lady. You were blessed to have her and she was blessed to have such a loving family. Her joy and kindness will never be forgotten . May precious memories and the the love of your family and friends help you through your loss. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.
