Judy and Family. Sorry to hear of the passing of a dear husband, father and grandfather. I came to know you when you bought your house in Bay Roberts. And the times you dropped over for a visit.

Judy and Family,
I had the pleasure of working with Ed at Big Erics. He was a great leader and a true gentleman. He was quick-witted and could take down an opponent that dared to outwit him. He brought smiles to many, what a gift to share. Ed will be missed.

If the world were filled with Ed Strattons, what a wonderful world it would be.
Ed exemplified all that is best in human nature. He was an intelligent, good natured man who conducted himself always with honesty, dignity, courage, generosity, compassion and loyalty. He was always a pleasure to be around.
The richness of your family life Is evident, and it was apparent to me that Ed cherished all of you.
Rest In Peace Ed,
Lynn Spracklin

Dear Judy and Family.

My name is Shane McKay. For about 10 years, I was assigned to provide sales support, on behalf of Diversey Canada, to what was then Sani Pro. with Ed as its President. It was during that time I came to know Ed. Over the course of those 10 years, we had many meetings and many dinners, and travelled to many parts of your great province. I would always tell people that Newfoundland was my favourite place to go when I travelled for work, and Ed was a big part of the reason why. I learned many things during the time I spent with Ed. He was an astute businessman, a consummate professional, a sincere gentleman, and a true Newfoundlander. It was therefore very sad news for me to hear that Ed had passed away, just a week shy of his 75th birthday. I have many friends from Newfoundland and whenever I think of Newfoundland, I always think of Ed. I was very fortunate to have met him and it was a privilege to know and work with him. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Judy & Family, It is with regret we send our condolences on the passing of Ed. Cherished are the moments & memories we shared with you both at Karen & Robert’s dinner table.. It was always a special night full of chatter and laughter. Sending you warm wishes as you grieve your big loss and embrace the wonderful memories. Hugs Geri & Ron

Loss always hurts but love and thoughts of the happiness you enjoyed together will always remain. With love and a big hug..

Judy and family,

I was saddened to hear of Ed’s passing. I knew Ed when he was a Chair and Director of one of the Healthcare Boards and then got to know him on a more personal level when he joined our poker club many years ago. Ed always enjoyed our game – he had a great poker face – we never knew if he had a full house or a pair of deuces. He was always in the game and most times left with more more money than he came with, despite our attempt to second guess his gestures and body language. Ed was good natured, and a pleasure to be around. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

John Peddle

Saddened to hear of Ed’s passing. I know he fought long and hard. It was great to see him while we were working together a couple of years ago after not seeing each other since I left Sanitary Products almost 40 years ago. He was a good friend and valued client. May peace and comfort be with the family knowing he was such a positive influence to many. Godspeed my friend.

My deepest sympathy Judy and family

We can shed tears that they have gone,
Or we can smile that they have lived.
We can close our eyes and pray that they will come back,
Or we can open our eyes and see all the good that they have left us.
Our hearts can be empty because we cannot see them,
Or our hearts can be full with love that we’ve shared.
We can turn our backs on tomorrow and live yesterday,
Or we can be happy for tomorrow, because of yesterday.
We can remember them and only that they have gone,
Or we can cherish their memory and let it live on.
We can cry and close our minds, be empty and turn our backs,
Or we can do what they would have wanted,
Smile, open our eyes, love, and go on.

Judy & Family,
Our sincere condolences to you and your family with the passing of your husband and father, Ed. May your precious memories give you all peace and comfort during this most difficult period.

Ed❤️ Your impact and extraordinary positive influence on your family, colleagues and friends is indescribable. Whether it being love, mentorship, compassion, humour, altruism, and/or visiting with your son and his buddies on the 1st annual predictions morning.

Your genuine nature and true smile/laugh are forever with me. Superseding your exceptional business and leadership accolades. Yet with great modesty.

You have been you…. and someone so much more than special … for Judy, Neil, Shawn and Darrell…. And so many others….

I love you all and am blessed to have been able to spend the time I have with such a wonderful human.

If all people in this world were even 75% of the person Ed stratton was, we would be blessed beyond words. I am blessed to have had you and your family in my life.

Love you all

Chris
