Providing caring, compassionate and courteous services since 1804

COVID-19 Statement

Carnell’s Funeral Home  continues to receive updates from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. To ensure that we keep our staff, our client families, and the general public safe, we have digitized our required paperwork and if requested can conduct arrangement conferences through telephone and email. A complete list of our products and services can be found on our website for reference.

Carnell’s Funeral Home encourages our client families and the general public to wear a non medical mask while inside our facility. Wearing a mask is not mandatory. Our chapel and visitation rooms are now operating at full capacity. Our chapel can accommodate 175 people.

The safety of our staff, our client families, and the general public, continues to be our top priority. We thank you for your continued support and understanding through these difficult times.

At Carnell’s Funeral Home we understand the importance that family values, rituals, customs and cultural or religious preferences have on determining how we celebrate and honor the lives of our deceased loved ones. We also understand the significant costs and financial burden many families face when a loved one dies. That is why we believe our new booklets, Important Facts About Funerals and Finances and Important Facts About Cremation and Costs will be valuable resources for you and your family.
