It is with sad hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our brother Chuck Flood, only 53 years young. Chuck is preceded by both parents, Helen (1993) and Greg (1999) Flood.
Leaving to mourn are his brother Dale, sister Michelle (Terry) Baird, nephew Chad (Alana) and niece Tayler (Tanner); his extended family and friends in Jacksonville Florida; also, aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many close friends near and far.
Chuck was the greatest Brother and Uncle and everyone’s best buddy, he had a great sense of humor and could tell some funny stories. He lived life to the fullest, and life won’t be the same without him, our hearts are broken, and he will be missed more than anyone will ever know. We will cherish every moment we had with Chuck and keep those memories close to our hearts.
We would also like to thank all staff at the Dialysis Unit in Mt Pearl Square.
Cremation has taken place.
A Memorial service to be held on Friday, April 26th, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the Carnell Memorial Chapel. (The service will be livestreamed – please see link above.)
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.

I’m so deeply sorry to hear of Chuck’s passing. Although I haven’t been in touch with Chuck in quite a few years, the memories I have of him and our childhood/ school friendship still holds close. That is the impact he had on people that had the privilege to know him. I have so many funny , loving memories that has stayed with me throughout the years.
Rest in peace , Chuck. You were one of a kind and will never be forgotten

Condolences from the Whittle family to Michele, Dale, the entire Flood family and infinite friends. Mary, Billy, Christopher, had the privilege of growing up with the Flood family on Eastaff street. Chuck was adored by our entire neighborhood. To loose him is devastating, crushing and can’t begin to imagine how Michele and Dale feel. Chuck lit up any room he walked into with his warm smile and friendly demenour. His laughter was contagious to all who met him. Prayer’s and love to Michele, Dale, the entire Flood family, and large network of friends, close and far. You will never be forgotten and your spirit will remain in the hearts of so many.

Chuck buddy ! You were possibly one of the wildest and funniest people I have ever met in my life . You always knew how to spin a tale , draw a smile , and pull the laughs ! We were lucky enough to get to spend a night with Chuck a few years back at one of the family gatherings and he was no doubt the “life of the party”.
