Obituary

Passed peacefully away at his home George Rex Wadland  at the of age 89 years. At his side, his loving wife of 37 years Beatrice Picco-Wadland. Leaving to mourn his passing, his step-children and their families, step son Robert; step daughter Karen Graham (Ken); step grand children: Samantha, Rebecca Daley (Robert), Jonathan (Jack) (Josie), Stephanie (Patrick)  and Kaitlain; step great grandchildren: Norah, Rachel, and Aiden; special sisters-in-law Rose Thain, June Gullage and Joan Bastow; as well as a large circle of other relatives and  friends, especially Cec and Marilyn.

Cremation has taken place.

Visitation will take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, from 2-4 and 7-9 on Tuesday, April 23rd.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Carnell Memorial Chapel

Flowers are graciously accepted or a donation in George’s memory to the Royal Canadian Legion would be appreciated.

Beatrice and family, it is with sincere sympathy that I write this note. I have fond memories of selling real estate with George at Tony Murray Associates. RIP George.

I haven’t seen George in several years, but remember him well from my years in Real Estate back in the 70’s. He was alyways a fine gentleman. My sincere condolences to his family.
