Obituary

Passed peacefully away at Agnes Pratt Home on October 31, 2022. 

Predeceased by parents Ron and Florence Morgan, husband Fraser, brother Harvey, and daughter Brenda Beresford.

Left with fond and moving memories brother Cyril Morgan (Marg), sons Wayne (Marie) and Douglas (Sandra Burke), son-in-law Frank Beresford and sister-in-law Phyllis Morgan; grandchildren Karla Dymond, Joel Dymond and Victoria Beresford; three great-grandchildren Maria Dymond and Erica and Jesse Clouter, along with special niece Allison Pittman (Robert) and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends; special aunt Marion Noseworthy (Walter – dec).

Special thanks to Mom’s caregivers Gail Warford, Lori Nixon (deceased), Ivey Penney and Mary Mahon.  Thanks to the nurses, doctors, and staff of Pratt Place for their care of Mom during her stay.  Special thanks to Mom’s longtime physician Dr. Mabel Greene. 

Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Thursday, November 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Friday, November 4 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow in Kenmount Road Anglican Cemetery.

Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made to The Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of choice.

I worked with Fraser at CBC when TV first started. I always enjoyed speaking with your Mom and Dad whenever we met.
So sorry for your loss. I’m sure you have many wonderful memories that will hopefully give you some comfort.

Wayne, Doug and Families, sorry to have heard about Aunt Dot’s passing. We will treasure the many positive memories of times with your mom. She always lit up a room with her cheerful eyes and joyful laugh! It was a pleasure to be in her company…and always enjoyed her Christmas visits (with your dad)to our home in Mt. Pearl.

To everybody who is a part of Aunt Dot’s family, Myra and I express our heart felt condelences.

“Aunt Dot”, as Iwe called her, was a memeber of our expended family and from the my earliest memories, she was a speacial person to me and to Myra when we were married. Everytime that we meet her, we feft a bond with her. We throughly enjoyed the time we sent with her, no matter how fleeting that was later in her life. She made us feel that we were special to her..

Doug, Wayne and Cyril while our travel plans do not allow us to express our condolences in person nor attend the ceremony, our thoughts of you and Aunt Dot will be with us.
