Obituary
Passed peacefully away at the Leonard A. Miller Centre, Donald Gosse age 83. He will be sadly missed by his wife Maureen Gosse, two step-sons Ronnie and Shawn Spencer; four grandchildren in Newfoundland; his three children in the United States, Glen (Tara), Linda (Tim), Teresa (Rick); seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; brothers and sisters Edward (Helen), Patricia (John), Jen, Mary, Joe, Bernadette; special niece Amanda Mahoney; as well as a number of friends and relatives.
In tears we saw you sinking,
We watched you fade away,
Our hearts were almost broken,
You fought so hard to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping,
So peacefully free from pain,
We could not wish you back,
To suffer that again.
Maureen, I’m so sorry for your loss and I pray for you to have strength to heal from the loss of your loving husband 🙏 God Bless you and your family.

My condolences to all Don’s family. I knew him when I was a teenager, and his manner of speech was (to me) delightful. Whether he knew it or not, he left behind quite a legacy in friends and family.
