Obituary

Passed away tragically after valiantly battling a severe and debilitating mental illness, on Saturday, July 22, 2017, aged 44 years. Predeceased by father George. Leaving to mourn his caring mother Judy Dale; loving sisters Lisa (Robbie), Lois and Lori (Mark); special aunt Genevieve Dale; cousins Peter, Susan, Cindy and their families; extended family Sharon, Shawn, Joanne Follett and their families; also special “Big Brother” John Lynch who has been a family friend since 1981. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday, July 26 from 2-9 p.m. Private funeral at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Schizophrenia Society or the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Dear Judy, we just heard the very sad news about Dale. Sending you and your family our deepest sympathies. We are away in the Maritimes so will miss the funeral unfortunately, but our sincere condolences and may he rest in peace.

We would like to express our sincerest condolences to the Follett family on Dale’s passing. May he rest peace.

Dale was a good friend to both my sons Stuart and Matthew Jones. He taught Matthew to play quitar. I remember him as a very respectful and respected young man. My sincere sympathy to his family and friends. I just foundd out or would have been to Carnell’s.

I truly hope Dale has found some peace.
He was in my life for many years and I have wonderful memories of the happier times we shared.
