Was not aware of don’s paddy until now. Don was a ‘sand pits ‘guy who I grew up with, spent time in the air cadets with, and dealt with him off and on throughout his work life. Lots of stories and laughs when we did connect . So sorry for his family but he was the type not to want you to linger in sadness.

RIP Don

To all the Evans family,
My sincere condolences on the passing of my uncle Don. Although we’ve always lived far away in Winnipeg, every time we’ve always went to visit family in St. John’s Uncle Don was always there to welcome us with open arms and be a gracious host. I fondly remember him giving me a job one summer at the Newfoundland Tea company. During that time he took me on some of his adventures, as I got to fly with him in his 2 seater plane to Gander and drive with him down through the peninsula as well to his cabin at Cupid’s. I was able to speak with him not long ago, and I know his big sister, Doris, will miss him dearly as well.
Rest In Peace Uncle Don.

Jonathon, Christopher & Families…….I want to send my deepest condolences on your loss at this sadened time. He will be missed and remembered!
