Dorothy "Dottie" Tucker (nee Murray)

October 3, 1969 to June 8, 2020

Obituary

It is with great sadness & heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dottie Tucker (nee Murray) at the age of 50 years on June 8, 2020 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital surrounded by her loving family.  Predeceased by her parents Ronald and Patricia Murray and brother Ronald.   Left heartbroken but with loving memories the light of her life her son David, siblings; Rhonda (Paul), Brian (Jacqueline) and Stephen (Kim), her nieces and nephews whom she adored with all her heart; Samantha, Brianna, Makayla, Nicholas, Sydney & Terrell, and her fur-baby Willow,  special aunts and uncles; Bridget (Gene), Edward (Jose), Mary (Howard), Norm (Helen), Harold, Debbie (Dennis), and many special cousins and friends.

Dottie was a force of nature, she loved life to the fullest along with the people around her.  She loved to have family gatherings, travel, go on road trips, have a game of scat, enjoy her cold plate dinner & dark roast Tim’s coffee, and especially having movie nights and eating Swiss Chalet with her son, David.  Even though she battled her own health issues, she always thought of others before herself and never complained about any of her own struggles.  Dottie was very fortunate to have her special friends who ensured right up to her final days she was surrounded with love and care.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the dialysis unit and St. Clare’s 7 East for all their special care and support.

Due to COVID-19 circumstances, there will not be a public funeral or visitation.  A funeral mass and celebration of Dottie’s life will take place at a later date.  Donations can be made in her memory to the Kidney Foundation. To send a message of condolence, please visit www.carnells.com.

Our memories will comfort us, Mom & Dad will comfort you!
