Agatha Theresa Ivey

Passed peacefully away at the Glenbrook Lodge Thursday, August 8^th 2019 in her 93^rd year, our loving mother Agatha Ivey (nee Fitzgerald). Agatha is predeceased by her loving husband James; father Philip Fitzgerald; mother Winnifred Traverse (Fitzgerald); sisters Angela, Margaret, and Catherine; brothers John, Bernard, Patrick, and Lawrence. Leaving to mourn her loving daughters Lorraine (Allan), Patsy (Robert), Marlene (Ray); sons Jim (Heather) and Kevin (Mary); 10 grandchildren: Christine, Charlene, Stephen, Michelle, Keith, Andrew, Christopher, Johnathan, Jeremy, and Mark; 13 great-grand children: Jacob, Emma, Stella, Alice, Tatum, Emerson, Vivienne, Charolette, Charlee, Hayden, Avery, Parker, and Chloe; also numerous family and friends. Visitation will be at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Sunday, August 11^th, 10 a.m. to noon, 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be held from St. Pius X Church, 16 Smithville Crescent on Monday, August 12^th at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Belvedere Roman Catholic Cemetery, Newtown Road. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Glenbrook Lodge for their care and compassion during Mom’s time there. Flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in Agatha’s memory to a charity of ones choice.
