I remember Miss Sheppard when she taught at Canon Richard’s High School when I was a Grade 11 student in 1961-62.. She was such a lovely person.
Years later after I graduated from University I met her in St. Johns on a few occasions when she was Mrs.Coles and she was still the fine person that I observed in high school. She was ahead of her time in how she related to students and former students. I had such respect for her. May she rest in peace.

We’re very sorry for you loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
