Obituary
Passed peacefully away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Health Sciences Complex, Joey Luedee, age 42 years. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Randilyn, parents Ron and Georgina, brother Craig (Amanda), nephews Ethan and Noah (Joanne Lane), mother and father-in-law Randy and Mary Parsons, sister-in-law Robyn (Jeremy), niece and nephew Kelli Lynn and Kirby, brother-in-law Ryan (Leslie) nephew and niece Avery and Emily, special godmother Daphne Harvey, cousin Robert and many other relatives, friends and co-workers.
Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may visit the family on Wednesday, January 17 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date in Gander. Donations in his memory may be made to the Spina Bifida Association.

Ron, Georgina, Randilyn, Craig and other family members, I was saddened to hear of Joey’s passing. He was such an inspiration to me even from a very young age when he would visit the Doyles in St. Andrew’s. I will hold you all in my thoughts and prayers as you grieve your loss.
To say I’m gonna miss Joe would be an understatement. He was one of the first guys I got to know when I started work at the office. When I saw he was a hockey fan, I knew we were gold. I’m going to miss him reminding me when my team lost to his, just like I’m going to miss him saying he didn’t know Montreal was playing the day after they lost. Joe made a big impact at the office and we’re all going to miss him. So so sorry for your loss Randilyn and family.
Mr & Mrs Luedee & Craig… though so many years have passed from the time Joey & I were in school together at St. Paul’s, I always thought of him as a friend. He was a beautiful person that I will forever remember fondly. I am so deeply sorry for your loss.

Joe was the sunshine in my morning, each and every day he would message me and say good morning, then I would turn around and he’d be there. Of course he would be laughing because he loved to sneak up on me. I will miss him deeply , his sense of humour , his laugh and his smile. I am in complete shock to see this news. I was only talking to Joe this weekend when he checked in with me to make sure I wasn’t impacted by the floods in Corner Brook. Joe has been a good friend to me for nearly 10 years. My heartfelt condolences to Randilyn and the rest of his family.
