Muriel, or “Moolie” as she was affectionately known, will be remembered as a generous and loving woman who took great joy in her family and their accomplishments.  She continuously put others before herself, and was always there with a kind word, a home cooked meal and a listening ear.  She inspired all with her deep faith and devotion, and generous support of her church and other causes.  Special thanks to her physician and family friend Dr. Randy Hart for going above and beyond in providing care, and to the staff of Tiffany Village for their support.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday April 18 and Thursday April 19 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd.  Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church on Friday, April 20 at 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Canadian Diabetic Association and the Dr. H. Dear Carter and Baker families of Muriel: I am so sorry to learn of Moolie’s death. Our families have been connected for decades. She has gone home to God and to join her family and friends who have gone on before her. She has left her family a strong legacy rich in faith and love . There are no words to ease the pain of loss but to know that others care. I regret I am not in the province to attend the wake and funeral services. My condolences to each of you.
