Obituary

In loving memory of Diane Gloria Mercer, much loved wife of Ronald Mercer (deceased), passed away on Monday May 2, at Palliative Care surrounded by loving family and friends.

Cherished and loved by Mother Margaret and Father George (deceased) March and mother-in-law Beatrice (deceased) Mercer.

Loved sister of Ian March and sister-in-law Marisa.

Loved sisters-in-law of Bibs, Diane, Roz, Phyllis, Chris, Reg (deceased), Joan, Peg, Lloyd, Doug, Angie, Randy (deceased).

Proud and loving Auntie of Tyler, Jazz and Nicole.

Loving God Mother of Callie and Tyler.

Dearly loved and respected by all her many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her beloved dog Max.

A special thank you to the palliative care team from the Miller Centre for their love and support during this difficult time.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on May 6th from 10 am to 1pm at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road.  A private graveside ceremony will be held on May 6th at 2pm.

Flowers are graciously declined. Donations in her memory to an animal welfare charity of your choosing are welcome.

My condolences to the March and Mercer families. I always enjoyed Diane’s company and I remember

Marg, Ian, and all who loved Diane. We watched Diane grow up into a wonderful young woman. She married Ron, the love of her life, and had a beautiful life. I am sure that Ronny and her dad, George, were there to meet her in heaven. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
