Obituary
Passed peacefully away on Sunday, July 9, 2017, in Dartmouth, NS, Margaret McNeil Matthews at the age of 96 years. Born in Burnside, NL, she was the daughter of Wilfred and Hannah Oldford. Leaving to mourn daughters Donna Wilson and Deborah McLeod with whom she resided, and son Terence; grandchildren Kerry, Scott, Ginni, Michele, Steven, and Megie; great-grandchildren Matthew, Meghan, Ashley, Rebecca, Joshua and Michaela; and great-great-grandson Paul. Predeceased by her husband Lewis Matthews, sisters Winnie Dyke and Joyce Diamond and brothers Henry and Ellis. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Carnell’s, Kenmount Road on Thursday, July 13 from 2-4 and 7-10 p.m. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road at 10 a.m. Friday, July 14. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army gratefully accepted.
