To Mr Thistle and Laurie:
So sorry to hear of Mrs Thistles passing.. I will always have so many great memories. When I was growing up she lived across the street, she had a cabin right next to us as well. She was always so friendly, Happy, smiling and laughing all the time. Always made you feel so welcome. As a kid I was always so amazed when she would swim across the pond. She helped all of us kids learn how to swim. She made the best date squares, right next to her friend Marion’s trifle. I still have her moms recipe for the date squares. Going to get my wife Maria to make a batch in her memory. Our thoughts are with you both.

Mr. Thistle and family
Our deceased Mom, Mary Power, knew your wife/Mom/grandmother since they both worked at McKinley Motors (about 70 years ago) along with Marion Noseworthy and Ena Wall. These wonderful women kept in touch all these years and others joined their circle of friendship such as Pearl and Inez.
My sisters and I are always amazed at the longevity and genuineness of this circle of friends; they inspire us as we hear their stories.
