I’ve only been their neighbour for a short time, but The Howses have been kind to me on several occasions, willing to lend whatever was needed and forgiving of small foibles. I enjoyed our over-the-fence chats, his gentle disposition and smiling face. I wish I had known him longer.
I am so very sorry for your loss.

I send my sympathy to all of Baxter’s family and friends. I am very sorry that his life of community service has ended. We served together in the early 2000s in the Executive of the local chapter of CARP, and I always admired his involvement in that along with other worthwhile associations. I hope that his example will continue to inspire all of us to support organizations which try to help others in need.
