Obituary

Passed away peacefully on February 3 at 12:20 a.m. at her residence at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Francis Edward Skiffington in February 1985. Also predeceased by her father and mother, Jack and Violet (Halliday) Fleming, brother Gerald (Jean) and sisters Irene (Tony) and Edith. Loved dearly by and left to mourn are her children Cynthia, Linda (Trevor), Randy (Catherine), Charmaine, Bonny (Paul), Karen. Her brothers and sisters Doug (Theresa), Vic (Dorothy), Ruth (Michael), Violet (Richard), Tom (Jeanette), Bernie (Susan), Billy (Geraldine), Larry (Janice), Roy, Frankie. Grandchildren Sherry, Andrew, Renee (Heather), Kayla, Jamie (Steve), Laura (Gary), Meaghan (Lauren), Kaitlyn (Kim), Elise (Billy) as well as six step-grandchildren. Great Grandchildren Frances, Liam, Damon, Robert, Mason, Landon, Lincoln, Rian and Teaghan. Along with many extended relatives and friends. A special thank you to those that showed compassion for her at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home. Funeral service to celebrate her life will take place on Wednesday, February 5th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. A reception will be held following at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home. Interment will take place on Thursday, February 6th

at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hamilton Ave. Ext. Flowers are welcomed or if preferred donations can be made to The Alzheimer Society of Canada in her honour.
