Obituary
Passed away suddenly at home, Alistair Gillespie, age 72 years.
Predeceased by his wife Gloria (nee Earle), his parents George and Sheila Gillespie (nee Forristall), brothers Johnny and Doug, sister Betty and niece Angelina (Rusty) Gillespie.
Leaving to mourn his sons George, Albert, Andrew and Alex; Grandchildren Nicolas, Michael, Albert Jr., Alisa Jean, Chelsea Jean, Jaden, and Alexis; brother Bobby (Mel); sisters Sheila (Curtis), Georgina (Dave), Gail (Peter), also a large circle of nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements to be announced at a later date.
Condolences to his family. Al was our next door neighbour for ~ 23 years. He always had a friendly hello and a chuckle for us when we saw him around. He was helpful to us with home repairs and was good to us and said the same of us in return. We helped him when we could. He said we were the best neighbors. We miss him so much. It’s hard to pass by outside now knowing he won’t be there to say hello.

To the family, So sad to hear about Ally. He was my husbands best friend growing up next door to each other. He was the Best man at our wedding- 1972. and he even worked for Eb’s father. Rest easy Al and fly high. We will never forget you.

My condolences to the Gillespie family at this very difficult time, when I worked at Metrobus, AL would get on my bus going to work at the Janeway and Health Science, we would have many great chats about old times. Rest in peace my friend.
