Sincere condolences to Ann’s family on her passing. . I am just realizing now that she had passed away. Ann was a beautiful person. She looked after my mother , Prudence Rideout, at my home in Long Pond and then later when we moved to Upper Gullies. She was her sole caregiver for a couple of years. Until Mom passed at 100 years. She was very kind to her. Ann also attended the funeral home and the funeral as well as the celebration after the service for which the family really appreciated. She was so kind to my mother. Cherish your precious memories you have of her. They will make these difficult times more bearable. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Judy Dawe

Douglas, Steven & Joanna,

We are thinking about you today and remembering your Mom. I recall the time when I stayed with you guys for a week while at a softball tournament and she came to every game. She was a reliable source of support when my Mom was sick and came out for important events like Dad’s 60th birthday. Her love of music (especially Leonard Cohen), animals, a cold beer, and her free spirit are things we will remember about her. Our thoughts are with you.

Love David, Jennifer, Annabel and Jameson Laskey

I have wonderful memories of Anne from high school and beyond. The gesture that touched me the most was her coming to Carnell’s when my father died in 1986. I hadn’t lived in NL since 1971, but her reaching out to me then was indicative of her kind and gentle soul. I will never forget how much it meant to me. Years later I tracked down one of her sisters, and learned she was ill. It was heartbreaking. I wish her peace and send deepest sympathy to her children and family.

Sending my condolences to all the Family. Living close by it was a pleasure on occasion have a chat with Anne in years gone by.
I’m sure her many memories will live on and bring peace and comfort at this sad time.
