Passed peacefully away surrounded by friends and family on December 7, 2023, at the age of 38 years, Ashley Julia Michelle Scheeler.
Predeceased by grandfather Charles Edward Lomond; step-grandfather Larry Kempton; grandfather Malcom Green; uncle John Antle; grandmother in-law Catherine Scheeler; father in-law Karl Scheeler; and mother in-law Elizabeth Scheeler (nee King).
Leaving to mourn husband Deon Scheeler; daughter Jade Scheeler; mother Victoria Lomond; father Enos Green; step mother Michelle; step sisters Tara Fudge and Chantelle Fudge (Paddy); step niece Kylie; aunts Lexie Antle (Adrian), Annie Antle, Maxine Abbott (Gordie), Ida Hayse (Jodie); brother in-law Karl Scheeler (Lisa) and family; step-mother in-law Peggy Scheeler; uncles Malcom Green (Claudette) and Kevin Green; grandmother Matilda Green; grandmother Julia Lomond Kempton; aunts and uncles Carol Lomond Hirtle (Gary), Barbara and Gary Priddle, Paul and Sonya Lomond, Shawn Lomond (Chrissy), Richard Scheeler (Sheila), Arleen Coady (Tony), Dot Scheeler (Bob Breen) and Leona Parsons (Ed); friends Steve and April, Adam and Amanda, Liz, Danielle, Mike and Camille, Dave and Melissa, Sean and Carla, Stephen and Stephanie, and April; as well as many other relatives, friends and co-workers.
Special thanks to Steve and April and their son Chase; as well as our large group of friends and family, too many to mention. Thank you also to the doctors and nurses of 4 North A for the support and care.
Visitation will take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday, December 11 from 4-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, December 12 at 11:30 a.m.

I thought about you everyday Ash, I am so sorry this happened to you. Thank god Deon and Jade have so many wonderful friends and family to help them get through this heartbreak.
Deon and Jade, I am truly sorry for your loss as well as all the rest of Ashleys family and friends. When Ashley and I worked together I enjoyed getting to know her we would talk about everything including planning trips, shopping online, diets, family and pets. Since we stopped working together, we kind of lost contact but Ashely is someone I could never forget. I remember people at Rogers would always say how good of a person she was because she was always caring for other people. So true. Far too good of a person gone way too soon. But as they say only the good die young. RIP beautiful Ashely.
There’s no fairness for the loss of such a wonderful young woman. She was one of my babysitting children. Such a quiet sweet little girl. Fly high with the angels free from the pain and suffering you’ve endured. I kept praying for a miracle and that you’d be cured. God had other plans! All kinds of emotions. So sorry for your loss ,Ashley was a sweet lady knew her most of her life, next door to me ,she come down chatted with me and my mom, mom used to say don’t she ever stop,😇 then she moved to town I see her when she came to visit family, beautiful young lady,gone to soon , blessings to her husband and daughter, 🙏🏻🌹💙

Vicky, I am simply heartbroken with the news of Ashley’s passing. We have spoke often since her diagnosis and in every conversation your love for your girl was always known. I know the days ahead will be difficult for you but know you have many friends and family to support you. Ashley is now free of all pain and suffering as she became a beautiful angel to watch over the loved ones left behind. Jade will be the sunshine to help in the dark days and to remind you of your beautiful daughter who she was lucky to call her Mom.

My friend, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your beautiful Ashley, my heart aches for you because I know how much she meant to you, you were always letting everyone know how proud you were of her and how you loved her more than life itself. You were a great Mother and a great Grandmother to beautiful Jade as well. I know all of the beautiful memories of you and her as a child and the same when she grew into the beautiful woman you helped her become. She loved you as equally as you loved her that was evident to everyone.. please know she’s in heaven now free of pain and hurt, and you can rest easy yourself because you did well my friend and if everyone had a Mother like you I say, what a wonderful world this would be .Amen

Deon, Jade, and Ashley’s family: I’m so very sorry to learn about Ashley’s passing. She and I worked together at Rogers. She had the biggest heart and smile. Forever sharing stories about Deon, his mom, and their pup (English bulldog). She was always so kind and patient with customers. I’m at a loss for words. I’m sure she’s shining brightly somewhere.
