Obituary
On August 30, 2022 Barbara Anne Nelder got her wings and went to walk with angels. She was 67 years old.
Born in St. John’s, NL. Grew up in Goose Bay, then called Churchill Falls, Labrador “Home” in 1973, where she remained until her passing.
Survived by her daughter Keisha, grandson Axel, sister Pat Chappel and love of her life Eugene Decker, several nieces, nephews and cousins, special friends Ina Miller, Bridget Rideout and Eileen Dawe, as well as a huge circle of friends in Churchill Falls, which she considered family.
Barb was predeceased by her parents, sister Trudy and brother David.
Cremation has taken place, with service to be held at St. Mark’s Church on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. with celebration of life to follow at Churchill Falls Community Center.
No flowers by request.

I remember her more than once referring to me as the “bad nurse” and then following it up with such a big smile, laugh and a special look in her eyes making sure I knew that she was only joking.
