Sister of Eli Gibbons
Bridget Grace Gibbons – Daughter, sister, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, and niece, came into the loving arms of her parents as an angel on the morning of January 29th, 2024.
Bridget is predeceased by her great grandparents Gerald & Bridget (her namesake) Linehan, Eric & Frances Rideout, Jack & Daphne Noseworthy. Leaving her family to mourn, with very broken hearts; her loving parents Noel and Yvonne Gibbons, her brother Eli, grandparents Howard & Linda Gibbons, Craig & Paulette Noseworthy, uncles; Dion Gibbons (Karolyn) and Neil Gibbons (Danielle), aunt; Jennifer Williams (Reg), cousins; Lincoln Williams and Maverick Gibbons, and great grandparents Harold & Nance Gibbons.
Also left to mourn are extended family and friends who are far too numerous to name. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Fowler, Dr. Delaney, and the medical staff of both the Maternal Fetal Assessment Unit and the Health Sciences Centre Case Room. The empathy and compassion they have shown to our family will never be forgotten.
Bridget wasn’t given the opportunity to show the world her light, but we know she would have brought joy to the faces of her friends and family, pride to their eyes, and warmth to their hearts. She would have moved mountains and conquered the world, all with selfless grace. She was born an angel and will forever beam down from the heavens to help heal and guide her loved ones as they mourn.
Cremation to take place. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Carnell’s Funeral Home on February 15th at 11:00am.
The family is accepting donations to help fund memorial benches to be placed in First Falls Park in St. Mary’s and the Avalon Trailway in Conception Bay South to give family and friends a place to find peace and cherish Bridget. Funds can be sent to ynoseworthy@gmail.com.

Bridget’s life is always present with all of us right here, right now. It is all around and within us. It is in the rays of the sun, in the blown of the wind, and in the beat of our hearts.
I know you have a very loving family and a very supportive group of friends very close to you. But if there is anything that Allison and I can do, PLEASE let us know.
I am going to reach out to you Yvonne in a few weeks.
You don’t have to answer or text back. I am reaching out to let you know we are in presence with you. If you feel like you want to answer, I will be there – and if you do not feel like answering, don’t, I will be there in presence with you too.
