Obituary

It is with broken hearts, that we announce the tragic and sudden passing of Carmen Lynne Wells (Drinkwalter), 41 years young, of beautiful St. Johns Newfoundland. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on September 22nd of 2023.

Carmen was born on May 31st, 1982 to parents Todd Malloy and Janet Drinkwalter in Red Deer, Alberta, and immediately brought so much joy and love into the world. Carmen went on to graduate from Lindsey Thurber High School in the year 2000 and spent so much of her life working to help others. If you knew Carmen, you knew how hard she loved, how fiercely she cared, and how much compassion she had for every single person in her life.

She spent seven perfect years with Cory Wells and they had recently married on July 29th of 2023. Together they blended both families and she was a wonderful and loving mother to all her children. Carmen gave her all to her family and her passing has left a hole that can never be filled.

Carmen was predeceased by Teresa (Terry) Drinkwaltwer. She is survived by her 9 children, Paityn Maser, Rhylan Maser, Shakira Skinner, Dylan Kwasnycia-Wells, Brayden Benson, Mercedes Maser, Alixandra Drinkwalter, Justice Maser and Tayler Wells; her loving husband Cory Wells; her parents Janet Drinkwalter and Todd Malloy; her brother Jonathan Malloy, and his spouse Jenn Will; her sister Amanda Lee-Anne, her spouse Taylor Blanchard and nephew Jackson Blanchard; and grand daughter Rory Harvey-Maser, and an abundance of other loving relatives.
