Obituary
Cecilia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away peacefully in the St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in the presence of her family. She was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Locke.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her brother Leo; her children Frank (Rose), Patrick, Jimmy (Renee), Christine (Gerard), Maryann (Bill); her special granddaughter Kimberley, her seven grandchildren; her eleven great grandchildren, as well as a large circle of family and friends. As per Cecilia’s request cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Dear family,
I am very sorry for what has happened. Sometimes, when I visited Cecilia in the hospital, and the many times we talked and prayed together, I realized that Cecilia was a woman of great faith, a loving mother, and with a great sense of humour. She entrusted her path to the Lord and now rests from all her pain and suffering. She had a great hope of seeing all her loved ones with her in heaven next to Jesus.
I give you my deepest condolences. We are here to accompany you in this sorrow and grief. Our prayers will be going up for strength and comfort.

Our heartfelt condolences to Cecilia’s family. It was always a joy to hear Cecilia express her love for God and her family and for her church friends. She made a valiant effort to get out to church, when many in her condition would have stayed home. She will be missed but we look forward to the resurrection and the reunion of God’s faithful ones.

Wayne and I will always remember Cecelia as a very kind and helpful person. She bravely faced many health challenges in life and was an inspiration to those of us who witnessed her strength and unwavering faith in God!
Through all of life’s challenges she was never a quitter and did her best to stay strong when times were difficult. We look forward to seeing her in Heaven when she comes forth on Resurrection Day! I know her greatest wish was to see her loved ones is Heaven one day.. She is resting peacefully now and we pray that her family will take comfort in the fact that she is no longer suffering.
