It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my beloved partner Charlotte Day.  She passed on 14 Feb 24 early in the morning.  Left to mourn are her father Frank Day.  Her daughter Jeanette Anthony, and myself Howard Anthony.  Charlotte was a happy person with an intense love of Mickey, Ceramics and doing Taxes.  Everywhere we went she would say I did this persons or that person’s taxes.  She is an irreplaceable treasure and will be very much missed.

Her family will be holding a visitation at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd., on Monday February 19 from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm.  Any person who wants to express their sympathies to the father Frank Day should know he will only be attending the 2-4pm visitation.

Funeral Service will be held at the Carnell Memorial Chapel at 11:00am on February 20, 2024. Interment to follow in Memorial Gardens, Beaumont Hamel Way, Mt Pearl.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the diabetes foundation or the kidney Foundation.

So sorry to hear of your daughter’s passing. It’s been many years since I worked with young Frank sincere condolences to you and those who loved her Rip

My deepest condolences to Charlotte’s father Frank , her husband Howard and daughter Jeanette . Charlotte was a very good friend of mine for years . We laughed so much . She was always being so funny . She had a heart of gold . She put a map in a frame and marked out all the areas I needed to know to drive around St. John’s when I got my license. Her Volkswagen Volkswagen rabbit is what she always pick me up in.. We had some amazing times with our friends for a nice few years . She was always happy go lucky . Anyone who knew her loved her . We lost touch for a few years when she moved away . . Then Facebook we got in touch with one another again. I bought some ceramics from the crafts fair just before Christmas . It was so nice to see her . She was a trooper with everything she went through . Her family was her life . Thinking of you all . RIP Charlotte . Xxoo your friend Sherry

Howard and Jeannette I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of your dear Wife and Mother Charlotte. We created some fond memories together in Ottawa – it was our little Uplands family. She certainly loved Mickey Mouse! Take care and I will be thinking of you all.
