Obituary

Passed peacefully at the Health Science Centre on January 17, 2024, age 95.

Chesley is predeceased by daughter Jill Lambert; his parents, George and Millie (Roberts) Lambert; brother Malcolm Lambert; brothers in law Edgar Adams, Graham Chubbs; sisters in law Frances Lambert and Dianne Lambert.

Left with loving and precious memories his wife Lorraine Lambert of 64 years; daughter Wendy; grandson Justin (Jen); great grandchild Chelsea; also left to mourn his brother Bob; sisters Ruth Adams, Eleanor Chubbs (Alvin Blackmore), Lorraine, Carol (Martin); and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Ches was a brother to the Masonic Lodge and also a member of the Mazol Shriners where he was involved with bingo every Wednesday night.

No flowers by request. Donations may be made to St. John’s Shrine Club.

The family would like to thank all the medical professionals that cared for Ches in his time of need.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Shriners Club on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

We will miss Ches’s smiling face at bingo..he was so much a part of the Wednesday night event…Sorry for your loss .. To not see him at his table. Is our loss too. May he rest in peace.

Our thoughts are with Lorraine and family at this time. Ches was a very Community-minded person and had a wonderful relationship with Lorraine. Sincere condolences.

Ches was a well loved and well respected Brother and Shriner. He was someone who I could always count on during my time as Master which is still ongoing. He will be truly missed not only by me but by all the brethren of Whiteway lodge and those outside Whiteway who knew him. My sincerest condolences to his Family and my thoughts and prayers are with you
