Obituary
It comes with great sadness that after a courageous battle of 2 years with cancer the family of the late Clarence E. Smith announce his passing on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at the age of 82 years old.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his beautiful wife of 59 years, Judy, children; Wanda (Ron), Robin (Don), Kim (Joe), Clarence (Nikki), Keith (Brenda), Scott (Janet), Paul (Susanne); grandchildren; Trevor (Sarah), Cory (Natasha), Ashley (Sherri), Aaron (Alexis), Alysaa, Jenna, Joshua (Amber), Devyn, Mackenzie, and Shellbie; brothers and sister Bride, Fred (Francis), Bob (Bernice), Doug, Ernest (Lilian), Dave (Faye), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild.
He was predeceased by his child Baby Smith, his brother Wayne and mother (Annie) and father (Ernest).
Visitation will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday, October 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m with cremation to follow. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 2pm at St. Thomas’ Anglican Church at 8 Military Road.
As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made on his behalf to the Canadian Cancer Society.
