Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of David George Squires on July 20th, 2022, at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s. Leaving to mourn are his son’s Chris (Debbie) and Brian (Sheri) Squires.
Predeceased by his father Robert and Mother Isabelle and brothers Bob and Les. Left with loving memories are his sisters Edna, Linda (Greg), sister-in-law Hilda, brothers Bronsdon (Christine) in Alberta, Phillip (Barbara), Richard (Sandra), and Ronnie (Beverly). David also leaves behind a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place. The family will hold a committal service at the Anglican Parish Cemetery in St. Philips on Monday July 25th, 2022 at 11:00am .
Condolences to all of Dave’s family at his passing. Another one of the old gang from our teenage years gone from this earth. Rest in peace.

To Sandra, Dick, Edna and all the family. Deepest sympathy to you all. I got to know Dave because he was a close friend of my brother Vic. The months before Vic died of cancer, In 2008, I dropped him off at Daves many times. They were really good friends In the intervening years, I often say Dave walking on Thorburn Road. He is now at peace, safe in the arms of his Blessed Lord and Saviour, who always welcomes us into His heavenly home. I like to think he and Vic will meet again God bless you all. Shirley Gosse
