It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, father and brother David Wiseman. David was the light of our family in many ways and we will miss his presence but we embrace the beautiful memories he has left to us in his 48 years. He was predeceased by his mother Kathy in April. He leaves to mourn his greatest loves, two daughters Meghan and Sydney; his father Gerry, sister Janice (Robert Chafe), brother Michael (nieces Sophia and Maddison Wiseman); aunts, uncles and cousins and friends who both loved and knew David. We will miss his presence, but we are comforted by our faith to know that he will live in our hearts forever and we will one day be with him again. Funeral service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, January 29 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
We love you David.

Uncle Gerry and Janice, I am so sorry for your loss. How sad to lose David and even more so at such a young age. My heart is with you both and also with David’s daughters and his circle of friends . As I’ve been away all my adult life, I don’t have a lot of memories to share, but I do remember babysitting you Janice and David a few times when I was in grade 8 and 9. I remember thinking how Gerry and Kathy were the young and cool aunt and uncle in the family!! God bless you all as you go through this time of loss and grief.
Love and prayers,
Patrice (Prowse) Fitzpatrick

Dave was a great guy. We worked together for a while years ago and shared some great laughs. Dave had a keen sense of humour.
In recent years we only ran into each other occasionally but it was always fun and enjoyable. My condolences to the Wiseman family and Dave’s friends.
Our sincerest condolences to uncle Jerry and family. I can’t recall ever seeing Dave without a big smile. Thoughts and prayers with the family.
