Dear Laura,

I was so saddened to hear of Dave’s passing. It seems only a few short years when you, Dave, Sophie and Sam atteneded Liam’s visitation. I greatly appreciated your families presence and the conversation Sophie had with Des about his Dad’s death. She really made him feel so much better about going back to school after his Dad had died.. Such a wise and compassionate little girl.

Dave, spent many hours at our kitchen table when we lived on Gower St. The coffee pot was always on and he was always welcome, along with so many other who enjoyed his quit wit and laughter.

To you, your lovely children, extended family members both here and in Ireland my deepest condolences. He was one great guy!

Take care,

Cathy Young
