Judy, Joan and Don. So sorry to hear of your Moms passing. Your parents were great neighbours for 60 years. . Your Mom and my Mom spent many hours talking over the fence and sharing recipes. Hope you find comfort in all the good times and happiness you shared with someone so very special. Tom and Louise(Parsons) Harris

I remember the many meals our families had together, the tables were spread with Christmas specialties.
I can remember staying at Aunt Debs after school and waiting till mom could pick me up.
There were cookies, she always had cookies and cakes that I could eat to my heart’s content.
From earliest childhood I can remember Mom and Aunt Deb on their dairy phone calls..
I remember giving Aunt Deb. Some Turrs and. Puffins that Uncle George an dad just happened to have aboard the boat along with a load of fish.
All fond memories
In her latter days she would share broken stories of Uncle Jimmy, ( her father), and life in the early days.
Her generation learned to hold their heads high during the hard times….and she did till the very end. I am very proud to call her my aunt.

To Judy, Joan, Don, & Family;
Sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. May she Rest In Peace.
My memories of your Mom & Dad go back decades to when my sister Marion Trickett nee Locke boarded with them on Empire Avenue.
Shortly after moving to St. John’s from Moreton’s Harbor I had the pleasure of being invited to their home and served a delicious meal. Many years later Marion mentioned that your Mom loved Bakeapple Jam. On a couple of occasions when I was fortunate enough to secure some I would share them with Marion who in turn would share some with your Mom .I hope in some small way I returned the hospitality she had shown to me .
The last time I chatted with your Dad He was out
for his daily walk on Freshwater Rd.. They were still living in their home on Empire Ave. They were indeed a very warm, caring & friendly, hard working couple.
Our thoughts & Prayers are with you all at this time .
Sincerely,
Ewart & Dianne Locke.

I have many great memories of Aunt Deb.
Rest in peace. Say hello to Charlie for us.

Judy,
Sincere sympathy to you and all the family on the loss of your mother.

So sorry for your loss. Keeping your families in our thoughts and prayers!

I could not have asked for a better Aunt. RIP Aunt Deb.

I have many good memories of Aunt Deb from when I was growing up. I remember her as very wise, articulate and someone who enjoyed a good laugh. She was also the sister my mother never had. They were very close. The best of friends. I also remember Aunt Deb was very proud of her family and where she came from.

Thinking of the family in this difficult time , sorry we can,t make it,,
